APEX LEUVEN 2025

10 May. A gravel tribute to the unrivalled Belgian dirt tracks and dusty roads outside Leuven.

LEAVING THE CITY OF LEUVEN FOR 150 KM OF HIDDEN GRAVEL GEMS

Get immersed in the vast forests of Nationaal Park Brabantse Wouden, and enjoy endless kilometers of premium gravel, dirt tracks and dusty roads. Local riders Wesley and Hanne have designed a “best of” route that covers all corners of the Meerdaal and Sonian forests as well as some surprising landmarks, including two 19th-century former royal hippodromes.

With 150 km of mixed terrain (70% gravel) and a few unexpected cobble sections amidst the woods, this route delivers one #gravelgasm after another.

Starting at Madmum Coffee in Leuven with coffee, riders will head out south for a heroic 150km of mixed-terrain riding through the woods. At the end of it all, riders will join us back in Leuven at Hal 5 for pizza, beers and the chance to share all experiences with fellow riders from the SYN Global Cycling Club.
