100KM & 3,000 ALTITUDE METERS OF CYCLING ROMANCE ON THE SLOPES OF THE FURKA PASS, NUFENEN PASS AND GOTTHARD PASS 

Can you imagine a better weekend then a weekend on the slopes of the Furka Pass, Nufenen Pass and Gotthard Pass? On June 21 the APEX series head to Andermatt, Switzerland to let you experience these three iconic mountain passes. In a spectacular panoramic ride of 100 kilometers and 3,000 meters of altitude, you'll experience the best of the Swiss Alps. The hairpin corners, the views and the rolling descents, it’s all there. Whether you'll be riding our route at a blistering speed or enjoy this day on the bike at a social pace with friends - this day in the mountains will be the highlight of your year on the bike.

We take care of the resupply on every summit, you bring your bike and enjoy a great day with our community. After the finish in Andermatt you're invited to the post-ride party where we share all the exciting moments of the day together. Take a seat to relax, enjoy the mountain food and let's celebrate a great day on the bike with beers and drinks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the entry fee of APEX Andermatt?
The entree fee of APEX Andermatt is €35 per rider.

What are the benefits for SYN Club Members?
We will communicate the launch of the APEX World Tour events to SYN members first, giving you pole position to get your hands on a spot. In addition, SYN Members receive a voucher for the SYN Online Store to the value of the event's entry fee. If you are not a member yet, but wish to join the event, you can sign up for the SYN Club here.

Can I cancel my registration?
No, if a participant before the event decides to cancel its participation, a refund of the registration fee and other costs are not applied.  

Where do I find the official route of APEX Andermatt 2025?
Close before the event you will receive an email with all important participant information, including the official route (gpx file).

Does the route require specific technical skills?
APEX Andermatt is a climbing challenge for road bikes. The route includes 3 major mountain passes. Having intermediate to advanced riding skills is advised. We recommend bringing a bike that is in good condition.

Which bike and tires do you recommend?
For APEX Andermatt we recommend a road bike. Disc brakes recommended.

Do I need to follow the official APEX Andermatt route?
Yes, it's mandatory to follow the official route. We are guests in multiple national parks, filled with protected nature and wild-life. The route of APEX Andermatt follows carefully selected and approved roads to make sure our impact on nature, wild-life and fellow cyclists and hikers is as low as possible. If you leave the track to enjoy a mid-ride break or visit a cafe, please follow the local rules and use roads where bikes are allowed.

Does the organization provide drinks & food along the route?
APEX Andermatt is a self-supported road experience. This means it's important to plan your food and drinks well. The route passes multiple villages, supermarkets and cafés where you can refill your bottles or buy some food. For extra support, we provide free water, snacks and bars at two support stations on along the route.

Is APEX Andermatt a group riding event?
APEX Andermatt is not a group riding event. After registration at the start you are free to start riding the route between 9:00 and 10:00. 

Do you offer mechanical assistance?
At the aid stations we offer basic tools to use for DIY mechanical service. Please make sure you bring essential tools to solve minor issues (e.g. flat tires). If you cannot repair your bike yourself, find a bike shop.
